Lea Umberger (Set/Costume Designer) is excited that her Off-Broadway debut is with Padraic Lillis and Alchemy Theatre Company. Umbrella is her seventh design collaboration with Padraic- previous shows include A Line in the Sand (MITF 2007- Best Overall Solo Production), Savage In Limbo (Sheperds. At 78 th Street Theater Lab, NYC), The Dirty Talk (Spare Change Production at Center Stage and NY Fringe Festival 2005, NYC), Recreating Keiter (NYC), Foul Stench of Death (NYC) and Taming of the Shrew (Summer Rep- New Paltz) . Recent Costume designs include Gem of the Ocean (American Stage, St Petersburg,FL) ,The Rape of Lucrece (Washington Shakespeare Company-Washington, DC), All My Sons starring Paula Prentiss and Richard Benjamin (Shadowlands Theatre- Ellenville, NY); Big River (feature film, released in 2006); Anton in Show Business, Sunday in the Park with George, The Secret Garden (SUNY- New Paltz); Emma (Byrdcliffe Theater- Woodstock); Betrayal (Fountainhead Theatre- Washington DC); Richard 3 (Judith Shakespeare Company-NYC); Schmaltz (78th Street Theatre Lab-NYC); Duchess of Malfi (Kings County Shakespeare Company, NYC).
